Musical education is one of the cornerstones of our educational programme. It begins in the first year of Infant Education with the help of specialised teachers.
Our teaching methodology aims to stimulate the natural evolution of the children. Their innate ability to make music goes first – and from it, intuitively, come the main concepts of musical language.
In the earlier stages, students develop their musical sense through listening, voice, motion, and small percussion instruments. This is followed by a brief spell with the recorder, until in the second cycle of Primary Education instruments like the violin, the cello or the flute become standard.
Musical education is completed by attendance to concerts and auditions of a variety of styles, participation in the school choir, and an offer of extra-curricular lessons in classical and modern styles. Musical ensemble classes are also available.
