Much of the study of Science in the school takes place in the chemistry and biology laboratories, where theory becomes a tangible reality.
Students become accustomed to scientific research methods and to the use of laboratory equipment. They conduct numerous activities aimed at stimulating their curiosity and answering many of their questions about the world that surrounds them.
The younger children begin by making simple observations of empirical phenomena, and measuring elementary magnitudes. Activities become increasingly complex, as they learn to separate mixtures, use a microscope, form and recognise compounds, use common reactants, etc.
